Cancellation & Refund Policy

At SeedSilk, we strive to ensure that our customers are happy with their purchase. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to cancel an order or request a refund. In accordance with the Indian Consumer Protection laws, our policy is as follows:

1. Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipment: You can cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. To cancel, please log in to your account or contact our support team at support@seedsilk.com. A full refund will be initiated for prepaid orders cancelled before shipment.
  • Post Shipment: Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may return the product once it is delivered, subject to our Return Policy below.
  • No Cancellation Charges: As per Indian law, we do not levy any cancellation fees if you cancel your order before it is confirmed or due to a delay on our part.

2. Returns and Replacements

We take great care in selecting and packaging our seeds. However, if you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged or Defective
  • Different from what was ordered (wrong quantity/type)
  • Expired or has quality issues

Please report the issue to us within 48 to 72 hours of delivery with supporting photos or an unboxing video. We will offer a free replacement or a full refund for such cases.

3. Refund Process

  • Approval: Once your return/cancellation request is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Method: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking).
  • Timeline: As per RBI guidelines and standard e-commerce practices in India, the refund amount will typically reflect in your account within 5 to 7 working days after initiation.

4. Non-Refundable Items

Please note that certain items may not be eligible for return or refund:

  • Items showing signs of misuse or improper storage after delivery.
  • Seeds that have already been sown or used.
  • Any item not in its original packaging or missing its original bill.

5. Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, if you have any complaints regarding your refund or cancellation, you can contact our Grievance Officer:
